| After
10 years of working in the editing room with some of Hollywood's
finest directors and most respected actors, witnessing them laud
their ingenuity and curse their mistakes, Michael
Matzdorff is
stepping out of the dark room and into directing his first feature
film.
He is currently
wrapping editing on two independent feature films: Made-Up
directed by Tony Shalhoub and College directed by Killian
Kerwin. He assisted in the editing of the feature films: Fight
Club, Analyze This, Meet Joe Black, Volcano,
The Out-of-Towners, and more. Michael will be stepping up to
direct No Beer in Hell?, a dark, satirical roller-coaster of
a film written by Sara Boucher Rhodes.
He studied photography
and film at Brooks Institute of Photography in Santa Barbara,
California, and has been working in post-production since 1990.
Prior to that, it was pizza guy, air conditioning installer, janitor
and others.
Oddly, he was fired
from every single job he's ever had except film jobs.
